I am a sister to Wanda Boyd and she is the only person that I ever knew that danced and sang as she cleaned house? I can only say that the Lord had best have his house in order as Wanda was a perfectionist.

Mrs. Boyd was a beautiful person, full of life and love. Her son Ron and I became good friends in high school - when visiting the Boyd's home, she and Mr. Boyd were so nice and gracious, always making me feel special, which I suspect is how they made all their friends feel. When she was working at the Texas Highway Department, she was instrumental in me getting a summer job in the district warehouse, where I worked for 3 summers, helping me pay my way thru college - she was liked and much respected by her co workers there.
I have many wonderful memories of her but what stands out the most was her love for and dedication to her husband and their children - Ron and Melinda - she was always SO VERY proud of them! When last visiting her in her home in Pharr about 1 1/2 years ago, she was excited to tell me about what they were doing, as well as her grandkids and great grand kids. And she was upset with her doctor for telling her that she shouldn't work in her yard anymore - "how dare some 'young' doctor tell her what she should and shouldn't do" :) - what a great, fiercely independent spirit!
Thank you, Lord for Mrs. Boyd!

We were neighbors with the Boyd family for years. I remember their dog Honey, who I was deeply fond of. Mrs. Boyd was the nicest lady you could ever hope to meet. I know she has graduated to be with our Lord and Savior.
