Ruben Z. Rosales' Obituary
Ruben Z. (Sepi) Rosales, age 96, passed away on February 1, 2024 at his residence in Pharr surrounded by his family. Ruben was born on February 2, 1928 in Pharr, TX to Francisco and Gertrudis Rosales. He was married to Emma F. Rosales for 73 years. He is survived by his wife, Emma F. Rosales; 5 children, Ruben Rosales Jr. (Irene), Emma R. Garcia (†Juan Ramon), Estela Rosales, Romeo Rosales (Frances), Roel Rosales (Gloria); 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Ruben was owner and operator of Sepi’s for 50 years until his retirement in 2006.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church at 12:00 pm. Burial with Military Honors being provided by the VFW Post 8788 will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to thank, Robert Montes, Rosie, Belem, Marcela, Lupita, Claudia for all the care they gave to Ruben. Services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston of Pharr.
