Rosendo Ramirez's Obituary
Rosendo Ramirez, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Mission. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora Ramirez; two brothers, Rene Martinez, Ruben (†Juanita) Ramirez and a daughter-in-law Juanita Ramirez. He served in the United States Army and Airforce. He is survived by three sons, Rosendo (Mary Lou) Ramirez Jr., Rene (Yvonne) Ramirez, Robert (Enedina) Ramirez; three sisters, Estela (Abel) Mendez, Reyna (Andres) Zamora, Rebecca (†Gilbert) Smith; brother, Raul (Irma) Martinez; six grandchildren, Rolando (Cristal) Ramirez, Ricardo (Ashley) Ramirez, Randi Renee Ramirez, Madelynn Ramirez, Rachel Ramirez, Ralph Ramirez; 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hidalgo at 12: 30 pm. Burial with Military Honors provided by the VFW Post 8788 will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston of Pharr.
