Rebeca Rodriguez's Obituary
Rebeca “Ama” Rodriguez passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her residence in Pharr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Meliton Rodriguez Sr.; sons, Jesus Rodriguez & Daniel Rodriguez. She loved gardening and listening to Christian music, but most of all she enjoyed family gatherings and being surrounded by her loving family. She was loved by all of her family and by all that knew her. She will be dearly missed by everyone. She is survived by her 8 children, Rafaela Muñoz, Paula Rodriguez, Maria Rodriguez, Carla Rodriguez, Carolina Corona, Patricia Mesa, Meliton Rodriguez Jr. & Rebeca Lopez; brother, Andres Franco; sister, Josefina Briseño; 28 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston, 706 W. Sam Houston in Pharr, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston Chapel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Magic Valley Cemetery in Pharr. Services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston of Pharr.
