Oscar Villagomez's Obituary
Oscar Villagomez age 87, passed away peacefully Monday June 24, 2024 in his residence in Pharr. He was born in San Benito, Texas September 5, 1936 son of Nicolas Villagomez and Adela Aguilar. Oscar proudly served the US Army for many years, and will be remembered with great honor. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Carmen J. Villagomez, his 2 children David Villagomez and Lisa Villagomez. His surviving siblings include Agustina Villagomez, Baldemar Villagomez, Miguel Villagomez, Arnoldo Villagomez, Rosa Sanchez, Nicolas Villagomez Jr. and his granddaughter Jessica Villagomez. Visitation will be held Thursday June 27, 2024 from 11:00am. to 9:00pm. Funeral service will continue Monday July 1, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church at 11:30am. followed by military honors and burial at the RGV State Veterans Cemetery. Funeral services are in the care of Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston in Pharr, Texas.
