Olga S. Vargas' Obituary
Olga S. Vargas, age 85, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 15, 1938 to Servando and Adelina Sandoval. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hector Vargas Sr. parents and siblings, brothers, Beto, Renugo, Jesus, Fernando, Ruben and Servando Jr.; sisters, Edelia and Edilia. She is survived by her three sons, Hector Jr., Harvey and Harry; two granddaughters, who she loved and adored very much, Rhiannon and Rachel. She was retired from the P.S.J.A School District, where she worked at Palmer Elementary for many years as a Para-Professional. Visitation will be held Tuesday February 20, 2024 from 11:00am. to 9:00pm. with a rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will take place Wednesday February 21, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church at 11:30am. followed by burial at RGV State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas. We would like to thank the DHR Hospice staff for their gentle care of our mother. Funeral services are entrusted by Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston in Pharr Texas.
