Nicanora Bernal Gazca, age 90, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at her residence in Pharr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aristeo Gazca She is survived by her children, Isabel (Mario Sr.) Lizcano, Jose Angel (Nancy) Gazca, Gilberto Gazca, Luis (Irene) Gazca, Alicia (Ramiro) Lizcano, Felipe Gazca, Maria Elena (Hugo) Garcia, Rebecca (Rene) Lopez, Elizabeth Reyes † Jesus (Celia) Gazca, † Juan Gazca; sister, Margarita Bernal Snell; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. A chapel service was held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston at 2:00 pm. Burial was followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pharr. Services were entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston in Pharr.
