It is with heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Luisa
Rodriguez, who entered eternal rest on July 12, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born on August 25, 1943, in Havana, Texas, Luisa was born to Pablo Conde Sr.
and Ramona Salazar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Ramona, and siblings: Jesus Conde, Daniel Conde (+Elida), Emilia Ramirez (+Rafael), Enriqueta Martinez (+Gilberto), Elida Hernandez (+Amadeo), Pablo Conde Jr. (Rosalinda), and Ernesto Conde (Guadalupe). She is survived by her husband, Onofre Rodriguez Jr.; children: Pilar Rodriguez, Andres Rodriguez (Sylvia), Angelina Olivares (Gustavo); grandchildren: Andres Jr. (Mariah), Ashley (David), Christopher (Brittney), Aaron, Alejandro, Sophia; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Abram, Adam, Lucas, siblings, Estella Conde and Amalia Cavazos (+Luis), and many more family members. Throughout her life, Luisa was dedicated towards providing style, connection, and love to all those in her presence. A loyal employee of Jones and Jones, she dedicated 40 years of her life to fashion. She found joy in shopping and was delighted in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was completing crossword puzzles—always in pen, a testament to
her confidence and sharp mind, or indulging her sweet tooth with her favorite Godiva
chocolates. She also found peace and happiness planting flowers with her husband in
their garden and watching them grow. Known for her remarkable knowledge on just about any subject, she was the person family and friends turned to for advice, insight, and wisdom. Her conversations were rich, her laughter was warm, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. She loved deeply and lived wholeheartedly for her husband, children, and grandchildren, who were the center of her world and the greatest joy of her life. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she cherished every moment spent creating memories with them. Above all, she will be remembered for her unconditional love, her strength, and the beautiful way she cared for others. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the countless memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
