It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of María C. Macías, who died peacefully at the age of 71 in McAllen, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 5,1953, to Gabriel Macías and María Dolores Morales, María leaves behind a legacy of love and an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Alfonso Enriquez Jr.
María is survived by her devoted son, Mario Enriquez; her siblings Juanita Villarreal, Raúl Macías and Oscar Macías; and her two cherished grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
