Maria "Marcy" Llanes' Obituary
Maria “Marcy” Llanes, beloved matriarch, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. She has gone to join her loving husband in God’s presence. Marcy’s life was devoted to her family and the Gospel of Christ on earth. She never hesitated in sharing the love of Christ and made sure to instill those values that transformed her in her loved ones. We were very fortunate to see God use her to bring countless people to know His love.
Her family is deeply grateful and blessed for her love and devotion as well as her example of unwavering faith in a turbulent world.Always admonishing us to be our best through Christ who strengthens us, Marcy was also the family’s cheerleader advocate when life’s challenges came along. She is survived by her daughters Reina Esther Kerps and Ruth Esther Maldonado, her sons, Moises Llanes and Josue Llanes, her grandchildren Maria Viviana Maldonado, Massiel Yvonne Solis, Crystal Zern, April Marie Longoria, Angela Carina Llanes, Sophia Llanes, her great-grandchildren Randy, Ryan and Brandon Longoria, Daniela, Delilah and Ezra Solis and Mila Zern. We will be celebrating her life at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston, 706 W. Sam Houston in Pharr, where there will be a viewing on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. and a prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm. Her ashes will be buried with her late husband in Tampico, Mexico at a later date. Services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston in Pharr.
