It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Luisa Banda at the age of 100. Miss. Banda passed away at her residence in Pharr, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 11,1924 to Mr. Apolonio Banda and Mrs. Juana Calsada Soraño in Ebano, SLP, Mexico. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews Alfonso Sanchez, Humberto Banda, Alfredo Castillo, Jorge Sanchez, Jorge Sanchez Banda, Josefina Sanchez and Maria Eugenia Sanchez Rodriguez.
