Jesus Antonio Osorio 's Obituary
DEACON Jesus Antonio Osorio, was called to eternal rest by our Heavenly Father on September 30, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Marycarmen Osorio; children, Carmen Osorio and Alberto (Charlene) Osorio; Grandchildren Rogelio Antonio Castillo, Abigail Alisse Castillo, Alizandra Renee Castillo, and a Great-Grandchild Andrea Sophia Castillo. Jesus Antonio Osorio was born in Magdalena, Sonora, MX on May 5, 1948. He married the love of his life, Marycarmen Osorio on December 18, 1970 in Pomona, CA. A man of enormous faith and love for God, he was ordained as a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic faith on April 27, 1988 at St. Paul Cathedral, in Yakima, WA where he served the Diocese of Yakima until relocating to San Juan, TX in 2007. For the last eleven (11) years, he proudly, passionately, humbly and faithfully served as a Deacon for St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Las Milpas, TX. His faith, trust and love in God was evident by his passionate service to our Lord. He was known for his great sense of humor and ability to tell and great story. That talent served him well as he had the ability to make people both laugh and cry during any of his moving and touching homilies. A man of many talents, he had a deep love of music and played the drums with various conjunto groups over the years. He also had a deep appreciation and affinity for poetry and world history. He raised his children to also believe, love and trust in God. He displayed his faith by the way he lived more so than by his words. He treated everyone with respect and dignity; and his kindness was felt by all who encountered him. He was loved and respected by many and he truly left an imprint in everyone’s heart. He will be greatly missed. We love you, we miss you and we are so very proud of you! Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston, 706 W.
