Hortensia Salinas Garza, age, 83, born in Pharr, Texas on May 9, 1935, passed away on Thursday May 2, 2019 in Rio Grande Regional surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Rodolfo M. Garza (08/08/2018), her brother Sigifredo Salinas, and her sister Odilia Lopez. She is survived by her children Hortencia G. Martinez, Rodolfo Marcelo Garza Jr., Gavino M. Garza. She is also survived by her sisters, Olga Sanchez, Oralia Salinas, Omelia Alanis, Ofelia Garcia, Orfelinda Salinas also by her brothers Salomon Salinas, Samuel Salinas, Servando Salinas and Salome Salinas. By her 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston. Viewing days and times: Sunday May 5, 2019 From: 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm., prayer service at 7:00 pm.
