HERMELINDA SAENZ's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Miss Hermelinda Saenz announces her passing on 15, October 2016 at the Gardens Memory Unit in Pharr, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucio and Maria V. Saenz and her brother Marine Lt. Col. Ramiro Saenz. Although she was born in Yorktown, TX., she resided in San Juan, Pharr and McAllen, TX. She graduated from PSJA in 1952, and from Pan American College in 1955. She was a dedicated and loveable teacher for 35 years in the PSJA School District. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Corina Saenz of McAllen; brothers, Dr. Reynaldo (Lupe) Saenz of Albuquerque, NM., Reymundo (Eliamar) Saenz of Rockport, TX., and Dr. Robert (Gloria) Saenz of Bryan, TX., and multiple nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on 19, October 2016 at the Aurora Funeral Home, 706 W. Sam Houston in Pharr, TX. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Church in McAllen, TX. on Thursday, 20, October 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission, TX. Pallbearers will be Reymundo Saenz, Robert Saenz, Daniel Saenz, Richard Saenz, Rudy Guajardo and Tito Guajardo. Services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home of Pharr.
