Gloria Abrego Vasquez's Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gloria Abrego Vasquez of age 82. Gloria was born March 24, 1942 and passed away peacefully Sunday May 19, 2024 at Hidalgo Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Alfredo Abrego Sr.+ , Virginia Martinez+ and her son Isaac Vasquez Jr.+. She is survived by her children Norma Linda Salazar, Eli Vasquez, and Eric Vasquez. Also surviving are her siblings Ralph Abrego, Irma Garza, Elda Abrego and her 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 5:00pm. to 9:00pm. A chapel service will continue Thursday May 23, 2024 at 8:45am followed by burial at the RGV State Veterans Cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted by Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston in Pharr, Texas.
