Glenda Bobo's Obituary
Glenda Gail Risinger Bobo, 77, a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley, passed away on
Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at McAllen Medical Hospital. She was born on February 16, 1948, in
Pharr, Texas, to Grover Riley and Joyce Bell (Moseley).
Gail was a retired widow and spent her final year living with her daughter, Julie, and their
beloved puppy, Cooper Baby. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bobo, and her
parents, Grover and Joyce Risinger.
She is survived by her sister, Dian Garza (Juan); her two brothers, Lance Risinger (Sally) and
Barry Risinger (Stephani); her two children, T. J. Robie (Janel) and Julie Robie; her grandson,
Joshua Riley Adame (Jaclyn), who was her pride and joy; her great-granddaughter, Sierra
Grace Martinez; and several nieces and nephews.
Gail was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated her life to her
work and, above all, to her family. A proud member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church in McAllen,
she was also a courageous cancer survivor. Gail was deeply loved by many and will be greatly
missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any Cancer Association in her
honor.
