BRIJIDA LOPEZ's Obituary
Brijida Lopez, age 86, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at San Juan Nursing Home. She was born to Cleofas and Elena Lopez (Villarreal). She lived in Greenfield, Indiana for many years, where she worked at Twinbrook. Her prized accomplishment was becoming a U.S Citizen on April 26, 1977. She became a resident of San Juan nursing home on December 28, 2019. She loved the staff and her new friends she had made. She passed away peacefully with her daughter, Leonor at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, many siblings a grandson Jeremiah Neukam while still living a sister, Isabel Leisure and a brother Benito Lopez. Her children, Leonor L. Lopez & Louie (Nancy) Lopez of Texas, Candelaria Lopez, Teresa (Randy) Hineson of Arizona, Martha (Mike) Roland of Tennessee, Roberto (Chris) Lopez and Juan Lopez of Las Vegas. She was blessed with 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and her beautiful heart and her unexpected pranks which caused thunderous laughter’s that filled a room. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. A chapel service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston Chapel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
