Aurelio Martinez Jr. age 53, passed away peacefully Thursday January 4, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Aurelio Martinez Jr. was born in Pharr on August 14, 1970 son of Aurelio Martinez Sr. and San Juanita Losoya. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Refugia Martinez. His 7 children: Erika Salayandia, Diana Martinez, Oscar Salayandia, Tatiana Martinez, Nancy Martinez, Lorena Martinez, and Rolando Rodriguez. His brothers and sisters: Juana Martinez, Feliciana Alaniz, Julissa Martinez, Ernestina Palacios, Luis Garcia, Juliana Garcia and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday January 7, 2024 from 4:00pm. to 9:00pm. Visitation will then continue Monday January 8, 2024 from 11:00am. to 9:00pm. with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will take place Tuesday January 9, 2024 at St. Jude's Catholic Church at 10:00am. followed by burial at the San Juan City Cemetery in San Juan, Texas. Funeral services are entrusted by Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston, in Pharr, Texas.
