ANNE LAURA GRAHAM HASS's Obituary
Corpus Christi - Anne Laura Graham Hass peacefully passed away Friday July 15, 2016 at the Holmgreen Center Assisted Living Facility in Corpus Christ, Texas. ?
Born on May 20, 1921 to Laura and Harold Graham, Anne lived a long and full life surrounded by loving family and wonderful new and life-long friends. She received a teaching degree from Pan American College and taught 1st graders with pleasure for 30 years. ? While in college, she went on a blind date with Roland Rhinehart Hass, connected immediately and he asked her to marry him. ? They were married for 30 magnificent years until Roland's passing in 1973.
Anne loved traveling, visiting much of the United States, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East and living in southern Turkey in the late 1960's. ? Playing Bridge, swimming and cooking were some of her favorite activities. ? She had the great fortune of enjoying marvelous lifelong friends and treasured the time and love shared with them and their families.
Anne is survived by her sons, Roland and Jon, grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Juan, Martin, Roberto, and great grand-children, Savanna, Caroline, Margaret, Anna and Cole. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston 706 W. Sam Houston in Pharr from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg, TX.
